Join us at The Blue Bee for a creative, instructor-led workshop where you’ll paint your own barn quilt–inspired piece of home decor—no experience needed.

Each event includes everything you need to create a finished piece you’ll be proud to display, with guided instruction that allows your personality to shine through every step of the process.

Our workshops are intentionally small (typically 5 to 12 participants) so that everyone feels comfortable, supported, and able to create at their own pace. These are not rush-through projects—they are experiences.

We gather to create in community, to slow down, and to enjoy the process as much as the finished piece. Everyone leaves with something beautiful, made by hand and held with intention.

Looking to host a private event? Whether it’s a girls’ night, birthday, team gathering, or special occasion, we would love to help you create a meaningful experience for your group. Workshops can be hosted in our space or at your preferred location within the Kansas City area.

We also partner with quilt guilds, churches, military groups, and organizations to bring custom, hands-on workshops to your community—blending creativity, connection, and a shared sense of accomplishment.
