Starting with a basic 9-patch block, each session introduces a new block for a sample quilt, guiding beginners and rekindling the passion of experienced sewists.
You Will Learn:
- Fabric Preparation: The essentials of selecting and readying your fabric.
- Cutting Fabric: Techniques for precise fabric cutting using rotary cutters and cutting mats.
- Mastering a 1/4" Seam: Achieving consistent quarter-inch seams for professional-grade blocks.
- Pressing Tips & Techniques: The art of pressing for flat, crisp quilt pieces.
- Alignment of Seams: Perfecting the alignment for seamless blocks.
- Finishing Tips: Expert advice on finishing your blocks with a polished appearance.
Block Size: Each 12" block offers the flexibility to create a sampler quilt or transform them into unique home decor items.
Kit Bundle: Your session includes a comprehensive kit bundle equipped with fabric, thread, and any additional materials required for the block, such as interfacing or heat and bond, where applicable. Enjoy access to Blue Bee sewing machines and tools like rotary cutters, cutting mats, irons, and more, all under the guidance of our expert instructors.
