Farmers` Market Quilt (Honey) Village Life Collection Village life is often made more special by the weekly farmers’ market and that tradition is captured in this gorgeous quilt, with stalls offering eggs, jam and milk, a truck for transporting produce, hens, cows and sheep, plus some garlanded trees. Small appliqué motifs, created using a freezer paper method, add to the charm, as do some decorative buttons. The quilt takes time and focus to stitch but the result is so worth it and your work will be much admired. The design uses fabrics from the Village Life collection, with its blenders and extras, plus some fabrics from the Poppyseed Basics, Chambrays and Creating Memories ranges.
