Heart of the Village Quilt (Blue/Burgundy) Village Life Collection Here’s an easy quilt for you, with just two, repeated blocks that are simple and quick to make. It’s filled with charm too thanks to the addition of an appliqué heart at the centre of each block. The appliqué uses a turned-edge method, made easier with freezer paper. For an extra special look the hearts using Fabric 19 and Fabric 22 could be fussy cut to feature a house motif. The quilt design uses fabrics from the Village Life collection, with its blenders and extras, plus some fabrics from the Creating Memories, Brie and Tea Towel Basics ranges.
